Privacy
The short version: this website does not collect anything about you. No forms, no accounts, no tracking, no cookies.
What this website collects
Nothing. There is no contact form, no sign-up, no login, and no newsletter. We do not use Google Analytics or any other tracking or advertising service, and the site does not store cookies on your device.
The "Is it right for me?" questionnaire runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are never sent to us or to anyone else, and they disappear the moment you close the page.
Server logs
Like any website, ours runs on hosting that keeps short-lived technical logs so that faults can be diagnosed. These may include your IP address, the page you requested and your browser type. They are not used to identify you, are not combined with anything else, and are not shared with anyone.
The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services in London, and its content is stored with Sanity. Photographs and fonts are delivered from those providers' content networks, which means your browser requests files from them when you load a page.
If you get in touch
When you email or call us, we keep what you send only for as long as it takes to reply and, if you join, to run the club: your name, your contact details, and anything you have told us that affects how you play, such as a health condition. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to anyone outside the club without asking you first.
Photographs
We take photos at sessions, matches and events, and some appear on this site and on our social media. If you would rather not be photographed, or you would like a photo of you taken down, just tell any committee member or use the contact details below. We will sort it out, no explanation needed.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Get in touch and we will deal with it. If you are not happy with how we have handled something, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
