Tournament win for Corby United at NNC Walking Sports Festival

A mixed age team came away victors at the North Northamptonshire Council Walking Sports Festival 2026.

Competing against teams from Kettering and Daventry, Corby United came away overall winners in the 2026 tournament, played at Kettering Leisure Village. In what was a round-robin tournament over 6 games, Corby won an impressive 5 matches and came away from the tournament as unbeaten.

Player of the tournament, Phil Doherty, was top scorer with other goals coming from David Eaton and Stephen Shortland.

Congratulations to all the squad and we look forward to defending the trophy again in 2027.
